Our organazation is the ''Awarness and Devlopment Organisation with the backword community-Nepal''(ADOBC-Nepal). it is a non-government organization established by 11 educated youths who have skills of development of organization. it is non-profit making,non-government, non-political service orented and anti-discrimination organazationworking in sector of equality and peace in society and democratic Nepal. It was legally registered in 2063. it is an active organization working in estern region against every type of discrimination for good govern and human tight. it is aimed at poor, Dalit, backward society and Madheshi people as well as students. This organization also works for strengthening youths leadership development development including skill development of organization.ADOBC-Nepal works in its aim through study, investigation, advocation, seminar intercation, training, publication, skill development, demonstration and its related organization. ADOBC-Nepal is monitoring and investigating against human rights violence. Similarly it launches programs such as discussion, interaction,training based on public advocation.
Far-vision (far sight)
a) Our expedition is against discrimination and violence and for equality in society.
b) An ideal responsible basic advocating for public, able organization for discriminated and
backward society.
Mission
a) The aimed group of this organization will be poor, backward, discriminated, lingual
community, regional, general, castes and students of eastern region. The organization will be
centralized to make them conscious, able, united and active. The will be able to consume
human rights and fundamental rights provided by state. Society will be happy, prosperous,
self dependant, peaceful and none discriminated. b) Programs such as strengthens
development leadership development, federal concept development. Other's existence
acceptation concept development, human rights knowledge development will be lunched
among the poor, Dalit and young students. From our help they will be able to make different
identification. Work efficiently; get positive change in social life and concept. And our working
sector will be able to make different identification in the state.
Goal
a) To make all public conscious about universal declaration of human rights. Declaration of
Darbon convention against racial discrimination, fundament rights promised by state,
convention of treaty made by state.
b) Aimed class will be able and self dependant and their
social ability will be improved to use and follow rights and duty with state. Slove development
problems, mobilize local resources, get and use skills.
Objective
-To launch programs such, as orientation, interaction, seminar, training consciousness
development. Monitoring, investigation, formation of organization network, publication to
conserve all types of human rights.
-To try to implement UN international human rights and Darbon convention against racial
discrimination.
-To try to abolish discrimination on the basic of color, gender, language, religion, caste, political
views, social origin, wealth, birth and such questions.
-To try to solve the problems of landless, tenant farmer, homeless, citizenship and
launch programs to conserve children, females helpless old and crippled.
-To launch different types of programs and training against home violence, dowry and give
information about bad habits, addiction, HIV/AIDS, sex education.
-To adopt business, scientific and equal education and try to implement them in society. Give
business and technical training to the backward castes poor and crippled.
Launch youth campaign and strengthens with society to make united society, conscious towards
right and strong.

OHCHR-Nepal, in collaboration with NHRC, discusses human rights in the peace process with local leaders and authorities in Sunsari District
On Monday and Tuesday, OHCHR-Nepal, with the collaboration of the NHRC, participated in meetings with members of political parties and civil society in Inaruwa. The topic under discussion was human rights in the Nepalese peace process.
The meeting focused on the challenge of ensuring that human rights, including the human rights provisions in the Comprehensive Peace Agreement, the interim Constitution and in the new government’s Minimum Programme of Common Consent, are respected in the peace process. Secondly, we discussed possible ways to ensure inclusive representation in the upcoming Constituent Assembly.
In discussions in regard to elections, it was stressed that political actors must accept that respect for the rights of others, including political allies and opponents, is the cornerstone of successful elections in a multi-party democracy. This means, for example, that political actors must permit all other actors to hold rallies, meetings, or demonstrations, and must also ensure that their supporters too respect these rights of others.
Political actors must also respect the rights of voters to participate in any political gatherings, as well as to vote freely, and the right of the press to report without fear of repercussions.
No reference was made to particular political parties or actors.
On the formation of the Constituent Assembly, the need to build upon the eight parties’ commitment in the CPA to inclusive representation by providing modalities for that representation in elections, in both the first-past-the-post system and the proportional representation system, was emphasized.
Overall, one important objective of the workshop was to encourage political actors to make a strong commitment to respect human rights in the peace process, particularly regarding upcoming elections, and to ensure that their supporters honour those commitments on the ground. The roles that authorities, human rights defenders and other civil society activists can play in helping to guarantee respect for human rights in post-conflict Nepal was also discussed.
